Area Sales Manager

Summary of Position

British American Tobacco Cambodia is looking for Area Sales Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a trade coverage plan for the area
  • Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume and customer price of products are achieved for the area
  • Develop and implement an area operational plan in line with the regional operational plan
  • Coordinate implementation of brand and trade programmed in the area, quickly reacting against competitive threats if necessary
  • Ability to drive efficiency through continues improvement on daily operations, such as reduce complicacy, set priority, or increase efficiency and minimize bad stock
  • Responsible for internal control and compliance procedures to comply with company policies & minimize risks
  • Ensure effective management of the ASMO financial accounts and assets to ensure that Trade Marketing & Distribution resources are secure and utilize productively according to company approved budgets and guidelines
  • Manage and build close business relationship with key customers in the area
  • Manage, train, inform and motivate the TM&D Executive and Representative in order to deliver trade marketing and distribution activities that are superior to the competition
  • Propose goals and KPIs for the programmes implemented in the area and track ongoing results
  • Generate/ gather ideas from customers and consumers in order to enhance and customize trade programmes

Bachelor's Degree

Manager (Staff supervisor,...)

Other Requirements

  • A comprehensive understanding of the strategies and plans and the implementation is fairly good
  • Effective and good management of material and respect of brand portfolio strategy
  • Ability to analyze and interpret a broad range of trade and consumers data to develop and implement Trade Marketing activities and strategies
  • Understanding and experience of managing Trade Marketing, Customer Engagement, Account Management and Field operations
  • Excellent selling, negotiation & influencing skills
  • Experience in motivating, coaching and developing bigger team
  • Good management of the team and financial planning
  • Analytical ability and quick solving problems with negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership skills
