Assistant Facility Manager

Summary of Position

Unisun Development Corp is a SME which is embarking upon an exciting journey of becoming a prominent land development and construction company.

Unisun Development Corp is looking for Assistant Facility Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance

  • Ensure buildings, any equipments located in the property are properly maintained 
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleaning services to a very high standard 
  • Manage on- site security, surveillance  
  • Managing the space in the building so that it is used efficiently: parking space allocation, landscaping, waste disposal, building security, etc

Contracts

  • Ensure to negotiate contracts with vendors while assuring best quality/value 
  • Monitor works, installations are properly performed 
  • Define & implement Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Tracker for all the equipments located in the property 

Operational Costs

  • Set yearly budget for all expenditures and make sure expenditure works towards creating a more efficient work environment 
  • Manage and optimize operational costs while adequately maintaining the properties at desired service level 
  • Keep a track of financial and non-financial records 

Management

  • Organize, develop and implement teams schedules to meet the goals of the company 
  • Team management and track performance based on the KPIs set 
  • Define all the Standard Operating Procedure & Service Level Agreements for all the sub functions of the facility team 
  • Follow IPMP (individual performance management plan) with individual Goal Plans for all staffs 
  • Supervise all facilities staffs (technicians, housekeepers etc.) and external contractors 
  • Comply with safety requirements for the building including employees training, facility inspections and security of the premises
  • Submit all the Facility management reports to the directors 

Customer satisfaction

  • Manage client relationships: Pre & Post leasing/sales, requests & complaints 
  • Collect receivable accounts  
  • Maintain high level of Customer Satisfaction 

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Manager (Staff supervisor,...)

Other Requirements

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience in facility management
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices 
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills 
  • Good analytical/critical thinking 
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
