Assistant Operation Manager

Summary of Position

A micro-finance in Cambodia is looking for an Assistant Operation Manager. The Assistant Operation Manager will be in charge of communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships, arranging the effective distribution of marketing material, maintaining and updating customer databases; conducting market research, and developing, marketing plans and strategies, following up with customers to inquire where necessary. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and check the implementation of credit policy, procedure and credit quality regularly and report to the top management
  • Check credit report and other reports that prepared by cashier and accountant, later on make analysis and study the Balance of Portfolio at Risk and the trends of credit quality of post office or whole institution
  • Make a strategy to improve the shortage that showed in the reports such as communication via telephone with relevant units and post office managers in order to give a command for credit quality management or manage the whole post office and give advices effectively related to problem on late of loan repayment to all units in the operation department
  • Prepare monthly reports of the credit quality to top management and check regularly about situation of latest loan to increase work activity and find out documents that are unclear, incorrect, or not enough, and then correct them by following policy and procedure of the institution
  • Check, follow up to improve the work implementation include motivation of performance as well as promote credit policy and top management’s guidelines to relevant post office managers and low-level staffs with highly efficiency and contact to all levels of local authorities in operation areas in order to support and keep the loan safety or solve the late repayment loan
  • Train expert division base on work ethics of institution through the management instruction and discuss, ask for command on credit affairs and others that involved in the operation department

Experience Required

Experienced in Sales and good communication skill to set up the appointment with the existing and expected tenants

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Fluent in English language both communication and writing

Other Requirements

  • Graduated in marketing or related field
  • Able to work independently and team under tight timelines and pressure
