Chief Operating Officer

Summary of Position

They are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Chief Operating Officer open to take on new challenges as well as overseeing all of projects.  Reporting to CEO, and working closely with the Accounting/Finance team.  Your main focus will be responsible for organizing, and implementing the projects to the highest standard.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise/Monitor 5 companies finance under the umbrella of a group
  • Monitor all accounting functions
  • Prepare all financial budgets, finance report, KPI report, controlling the cash flow transaction, consolidating all corporate accounts for fiscal period and business plan for all related projects
  • Prepare all documents to apply the bank loan for all related projects
  • Involve with Sales of Condominium
  • Prepare and maintain the accounting and finance policies for all related companies and advise for all 5 companies related to Cambodia Tax Law
  • Coordinate with the auditing firm for the year end audit process
  • Human resource
  • Maintain the Financial Records, Inventory, Invoice Billings and Collections, Payroll etc.
  • Maintain the relationship with the Government Section, ie. Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Land and other Ministries.
  • Develop, organize, execute, direct and assess the organizational fiscal function and overall performance
  • Act as advisor on any given contracts which the organization may enter into
  • Keep track of financial performance/status with the practice of measuring and evaluating outcomes, commence constructive solutions and reducing the variance’s impact.
  • Initiate new strategies and regulatory actions
  • Provide leadership
  • Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
  • Boost the finance group credibility by supplying prompt and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and trends so that the CEO and senior executives will be assisted in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.

Experience Required

10+ years experiences in Finance or Management in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferable in real estate development, property management, and/or construction.

  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and /or CPA highly desirable
  • Female/Male with pleasant personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • PC proficiency is essential (windows environment) and strong working knowledge of timberline and excel preferred.
