A large size commercial bank in Cambodia is looking for Chief Risk Officer.

The Chief Risk Officer will be in charge of the risk analysis for the whole organization. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience with a commercial bank or financial institution.

Ability to speak, read and write in English.

• Ensures processes and systems are in place to identify, analyze and mitigate risk across and throughout the organization
• Serves as primary resource for risk and risk analytic advice, information, expertise, and tools that can be leveraged across the enterprise
• Leads the design of processes to integrate, aggregate, analyze/forecast emerging issues, and report risk and exposure information to senior and executive management
• Provides executive support by establishing and managing risk policy and guidance, providing objective, independent risk assessments and recommendations, escalating timely and actionable risk information, and maintaining visibility over top tier risks
• Ensures strong oversight and regular information flow
• Ensures risks are managed within established tolerances, risk controls are effectively designed, and risk policies are understood and effectively applied throughout the organization
• Maintains a risk assessment program and provides assurance to senior and executive management and risk oversight bodies through direction and leadership

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Independent judgment, decision making, analytical skills, ability to read and interpret complex documents, and to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Strong financial analysis and loan underwriting and problem solving skills.
• Works with integrity; objectivity, accountability, honesty and leadership.
• Position open to expat only, preferably Asians.
