Corporate Affairs Assistant

Summary of Position

DYNAMIC GROUP: currently, we are looking for a candidate in the position Corporate Affairs Assistant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative support to the Corporate Affairs Manager
  2. Assist to coordinate key meetings and events including the Annual General Meeting
  3. Assist with the management of bequests
  4. Ensure compliance to privacy and freedom of information legislation
  5. Respond to privacy and freedom of information inquiries
  6. Provide administrative support to other Senior Managers as required
  7. Continuous review of processes to improve efficiency
  8. Sorting and allocating incoming paper and electronic mail
  9. Organizing and filing documents
  10. Managing schedules
  11. Arranging travel
  12. Preparing memos, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations
  13. Supervising lower-level employees
  14. Training new staff members

Associate Degree

Fresh Graduate / Entry level

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor in Business, Administration or Management
  • Experience in a corporate governance or senior administrative role
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • High level written and verbal communications skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite computer skills
  • Knowledge of Board/Committee/Annual General Meeting processes
  • Knowledge of bequest management processes would be highly regarded
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and discrete manner
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Strong team membership with an ability to work independently
  • An active listener in order to comprehend required duties and quickly understand the best method for completing them
