Editor in Chief
Summary of Position
Our client is a part of an international Health Group in Cambodia which leads the world in the creation of healthcare knowledge, making trustworthy information accessible; empowering us all to live happier and healthier lives. They are looking for an Editor in Chief who will enhance and improve the lives of millions of people through building the leading digital resource for health information in Cambodia. By leveraging digital platforms, channels and content his/her mission is to build the company's website into the ‘go-to’ digital destination for anything health in Cambodia. She/he will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Hiring & Management
- Analyze the HR needs to build a World class and industry leading content team
- Supervise the recruitment, training of each staff on the editorial dashboard, content SOPs, etc
- Manage the content team to deliver the highest quality content in the most efficient way
- Review staff performance and set up the team KPIs
Content & Editorial management
- Define in collaboration with the management the tone and manner of the websites content and the key category focus areas for content
- Ensure all content is in line with the tone and manner of the site
- Train all content contributors on the tone and manner of the site’s content
- Manage the Editorial Dashboard and content redaction and edits
- Develop content marketing, advertorial, and sponsored content strategy based on clients’ business objectives
- Work with Medical Editor to ensure all medical content is up to Health's editorial guidelines
- Develop strategic partnerships with content distribution networks to increase reach of the company's website content
Content reporting & Authentication
- Grow and maintain authenticity of the company’s content library
- Maintain the day-to-day reporting of the content development
- Conduct regular content audits and work with senior content staff in all markets to review existing content and analyze gaps in the content library
- Review content develop by third party content contributors to ensure that it is not plagiarized
- Maintain overview on the company’s clients' accounts and their performance
- The Company’s relationships with all accounts to ensure strong and long lasting relationships
Marketing & Digital Strategy
- Plan and supervise the digital and marketing strategy
Internationalization
- Attend regional Company’s meetings and share learnings with your counterparts
- Contribute to the development of content creations SOPs
- Attend, where necessary, regional content management meetings
Reporting to
To Business Development Manager
Languages Required
Other Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in successful content editorial management or digital marketing
- Good knowledge of health industry is preferred
- Understanding of product/service development processes and organization
- Capability to promote teamwork and collaboration among different teams
- Ability to measure performance by KPIs is highly appreciated
- Strong leadership and ownership of own responsibilities is needed
- Fluent English is required (fluent speaking and excellent writing)
- Fluency in Khmer is preferred
