Maersk: Currently, we are looking for an Executive Manager.

Service delivery

• To manage landside transportation (barge/truck/rail) including Store-door, Domestics and cross-border, export and import customs clearance, LCL consolidation activities to ensure smooth operation at the most cost-efficiency
• Support commercial growth by providing operational excellence for ocean and inland services
• Maintaining relationships key vendors. Jointly with vendor management and procurement, for team to secure high sustainable service levels from external vendors at the lowest cost.
• Managing customer requirements and expectations
• Act as escalation in problem solving customer’s complaints on a responsive and open-minded attitude
• Working with the team to initiate and develop range of services on top of the existing products- CHB and landside transportation

Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement

• Continuously look to drive efficiency improvements across all operations execution processes.
• Drive standardized execution processes across other operational and commercial functions to achieve excellence execution of E2E solutions.
• Process improvement and “Lean” driving to have a better process efficiency and outcome
• Implement Transportation Management System

Leadership

• Manage, coach, engage and develop the team of 7+ staffs to achieve a shared company objective
• Lead motivate and coach for performance of team
• Fostering strong teamwork and synergies amongst teams
• Build up back-up plan and successor plan

The candidate who has an outgoing and convincing personality. A person with a sense of urgency and result orientation with his/her own initiative to drive for better improvement; process excellent; people orientation in order to create a high performing and engage team. The incumbent need to have a high adaptability to handle different situation and stakeholders; be passionate and patient where he/she can work under pressure situation.

Experience

• Experience in liner operations, supply chain, shipping or related transportation management roles is required
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience. At least 3-year experience in managing a team of 5+ staffs
• Organised, with strong continuous improvement mindset.
• Results-orientation mindset
• Decision maker, able to think on feet and deliver solutions.
• Customer centric mindset.
• English fluency
• Good computer literacy: Microsoft offices, Outlook
• Relationship with local authorities, especially with customs office is preferred.
