A well-known tobacco company providing excellent quality products to its consumers is looking for a Financial Accountant.

You will be in charge of coordinating the company’s general accounting activities, treasury transactions, tax, and audit compliances.

At least 3 year experiences in international audit firm and/or trading environment in areas of Distributor Management overall understanding of accounting, account receivable or account payable.

Good command in English language (Speaking, Writing and Listening)

• Maintain updated information on statutory accounting principal and requirement
• Review and book properly all necessary transactions in each accounting period and manual
• Liaise with company’s Business Services Center to ensure accuracy (including PC & CC) and integrity of transactional data processing and coordinate for smooth monthly close process
• Prepare Market P&L and other reports for each accounting closing period
• Maintain adequate knowledge on tax regulations and requirements for company’s business operation and ensure tax record keeping as well as liaise with internal & external auditors and tax authorities
• Take ownership to maintain a proper company’s Representative Office Operating Guidelines
• Perform periodic review as to incorporate changes to fulfill business operational need and alignment company’s Group Operating Guidelines
• Maintain list of fixed asset registered and safeguard company assets
• Perform periodical physical fixed assets check and take proper action to ensure all assets are recorded in accordance with accounting principal
• Review AR aging and ensure timely collection

To the Financial Planning and Sales Analysis Manager 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines;
• Proficiency in Financial Accounting;
• Good understanding of overall tax system in Cambodia;
• Good knowledge in Cambodia statutory reporting and legal requirement and understand of IFRS and JSOX requirement
• Dynamic and committed;
• Computer proficiency: MS. Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Email;
