Front Office Manager

Summary of Position

The Plantation – urban resort and spa is currently looking for a Front Office Manager to lead the front of the house team, and within a period of 1 year we will groom him/her to be a Rooms Division Manager who will lead a team of about 45 persons. As a Front Office Manager, he/she will be responsible for all duties of the front of the house operation, including management of the front desk, concierge, reservations, training and team development, delivery of quality guest service and resolution of guest issues, while assisting general manager in managing online reputation and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
  • Must have excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • A clear understanding of guest service in a hotel environment and demonstrate leadership abilities
