General Manager
Summary of Position
A Dry Port Company is looking for General Manager
The General Manager will be in charge of financial management, business operation, business plan/sales and marketing for dry port company
Main Duties and Responsibilities
+ Financial and Administration Areas (Staff function)
- Ensure financial budget, performance, forecast, healthy cash flow, profitability
- Ensure proper accounting with timely invoicing and proper maintenance and upgrade billing operation system
- Responsible for HR management to maintain fair HR policies, staff training and company abides to the labor law
- Ensure dry port infrastructure are properly maintained for business performance
+ Business Operation (Line Function)
- Ensure fleet management to achieve high fleet utilization rate
- Ensure cost control for continuous process improvements
- Ensure warehouse contract management and manage efficient of productive planning for warehouse operation
- Ensure operational safety of depot yard and container movements in the dry port
- Understand customers' requirement to handle different types of cargoes
+ Business Planning/Sales and Marketing
- Responsible for asset planning and marketing strategies
- Ensure sales management, operation planning, communication and control the operational deployment of resources to meet customer requirements optimally

More than 3 years’ experience (not just freight forwarding)

Bachelor's Degree

Fluent English (writing and speaking)
Other Requirements
- General Bachelor Degree in Business Management or Logistics Management with academic qualifications of Finance Management. Preferably in logistics and supply chain management
- Knowledge in transportation, shipping, economic trends, trading terms, project logistics management, government laws
- Professional skills in finance, management, interpersonal skills, negotiation, decision making, analytic, conflict management, presentation and etc
- Ability to apply various management tools in business processes
