Head of Business Development Department (ប្រធានផ្នែកអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ធុរកិច្ច)

Summary of Position

CMED Construction is wholly-owned by CMED Group, a holding company with several large and diversified businesses and joint ventures in Cambodia.

CMED Construction is looking for Head of Business Development Department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and analysing market trends
  • Studying competitors' products and services
  • Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them
  • Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development
  • Responsible for managing the sales & marketing team, developing a business plan covering sales & marketing, revenue, and expense controls,meeting agreed targets, and promoting the Company’s presence throughout Cambodia
  • Manage the trading business in the administrative aspect inclusive of cost control, import / export and general affair
  • Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts, market trends, market competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort, and sales promotion programme plans
  • Ensure that all sales & marketing representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the company
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales & marketing team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports
  • Personally observe the performance of sales & marketing representatives in the field on a regular basis
  • Research, make strategy, introduce, establish, and manage new business model for selling construction related product and trading business
  • Prepare five years strategy plan and necessary document for business development in relation to corporate planning
  • Submit Monthly report and Weekly report
  • Any other tasks assigned by General Manager

Other Requirements

  • At least 15 years’ experience as a person in charge of Sales or Marketing in the Construction industry is preferable. (Belonging to main contractor is best, however belonging to subcontractor is also applicable)
  •  At least 10 years’ experience as a Sales & Marketing Manager in the Construction Company. (Belonging to main contractor is best, however belonging to subcontractor is also applicable)
  • Some relevant majors include business administration, marketing, construction science, and technical sales management
  • Background in working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Good Communication with clients
  • Good at marketing concept/creative and initiative
  • Good at negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
  • Be friendly, flexible, honestly, hard-working, and willing to work as a team
  • Knowledge of MS. Office
  • Good command of spoken/written/presentation in English, and ability to work with multi-levels and culturally-diversified team dynamics
  • Be willing to be stationed in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
