Head of Planning and Strategy

Summary of Position

One of the nation’s leading banking company is looking for a Head of Planning and Strategy

The Head of Planning and Strategy will be a key contributor to the business planning and strategy for the departmental and corporate levels, they will also be in charge of market intelligence and analysis, and leading new products and activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and analyze the regular findings on the Economy, Industry and Competitors including also MFI/MDI, which should be conducted regularly, so that it can facilitate the strategic business planning and development for the Bank
  • Monitor and assess any possible improvements in the current system and to initiate new products, services and activities to increase the company’s competitive advantage
  • Establish and develop new business partners in order to enhance the company’s banking channel infrastructures and to diversify the available financial services
  • Work with other business units as a consultant for any new developments, also including developments on the history, data collection, and customer experience
  • Plan for new activities and product developments with the relevant departments as required
  • Support and work closely on the establishment of the company’s initiatives including M&A, partnership, bank business strategy and performance monitoring
  • Participate in key decision making on the strategic direction and operational performance of the bank, acting as a member of the Management team, Product Development and Network Distribution Committees

To the Chief Planning Officer

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in a successful change-management position gained in finance and banking, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

Bachelor's Degree
