Head of Registration
Summary of Position
A university in Cambodia is looking for a Head of Registration who will be in charge of maintaining the operations of the Registrar's Office and in particular, ensuring its integrity and efficiency, understanding of technology-based solutions to increase efficiencies and data integrity in managing student records; utmost integrity; who is able to work with heads of faculties, lecturers and government ministries and student-centric, desire to serve students. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Registrar
- Facilitate effective student registration and enrollment
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records of current and former students
- Build secure student data files and sets policy and procedure for their responsible use
- Maintain up-to-date course schedules, catalogs, final examination schedules
- Manage efficient use of classrooms
- Supervise the processes for the articulation of transfer credits, graduation and certification of degrees, enrollment and degree verification, production of official transcripts and diplomas
- Counsel and advise students, faculty, and staff on academic matters
- Coordinate and manage student examinations
- Develop staff to be able to answer students’ queries and with a student-centric approach
- Work with heads of faculties, lecturers and government ministries
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the management

Experience Required
A minimum of 10 years of secretarial experience in an international corporation
Minimum Educational Level Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Career Level Required
Experienced (Non-manager)
Languages Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Khmer and English; and Strong interpersonal skills
Other Requirements
- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in any discipline
- Experience designing filing systems and liaising with different departments
- The ability to foster internal communication with faculty, staff, students, and deep appreciation of the importance of building strong relationship with the office
- Ability to interact successfully with academic, business and regulatory/ministry personnel
- Work effectively as a leader and a team member to ensure that departmental goals are met by providing support to staff and students graduate best interest as a priority
- Manage high volumes of documents and information and file them properly
- Able to coordinate with the IT department to digitize records
