Human Resources Officer

Summary of Position

The HR Officer supports business objectives through every area of human resources, with a focus on HR Administration, Talent Management, Comp & Ben, Reporting and Analysis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment activities by selecting and onboarding new employees
  • Develop an effective induction training and onboarding material for new starters
  • Create and deliver effective training activities with the aim of developing and retaining employees, as well as increase sales and profitability
  • Maintain accurate and organized employees’ records (including personal details, application form and CV, interview notes, employment contract, offer letter)
  • Develop an efficient filing system (both electronic and hard copy) to record all staff data
  • Prepare all HR documentation (employment contract, certification letter, ID card, promotion letters) in a timely manner and ensure that all information are correct
  • Maintain accurate staff leave reports and ensure relevant approvals are duly fulfilled
  • Work closely with the Country Director on regular talent reviews, identifying and developing top talent within the organisation
  • Record, consolidate and follow up on the staff performance appraisal process (probationary and monthly review) for career development and compensation purpose
  • Prepare monthly reports for payroll calculation purpose
  • Prepare monthly time and attendance report, making sure the reports are complete and correct
  • Organisation of any HR related events and activities
  • Regularly update HR policies and procedures according to local practices, rules & regulations

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Fluent Khmer, good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Other Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in HR administrative role
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Human Resources Management or in a relevant discipline
  • Good computer skills: MS Office, Internet and Email
  • Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills
  • Prioritising, time management and organizational skills
