Internal Audit Manager (Real Estate)

The Company has engaged with big projects of apartments and condominiums for most of the international clients. We are now the developer of the smart city ready for stock exchange market of billion-dollar listing in New York. Grown well from the small to the big sizes among other local and international project developer in Cambodia, we are handling construction projects, including steel handicrafts, shops, houses, apartment, condominiums, villas, schools and many others. Phnom Penh Land Development is URGENTLY looking for a qualified and talented candidate of creativity and advancement, full of energy and positive thinking to fill in the vacant position as Internal Audit Manager (Real Estate) 1 post who meets the criteria as follows:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for internal audit works as assigned and reporting to by Head of Internal Audit
- Performing job-related duties as assigned
- Verifying working papers, supporting documents, and testing in accordance with the audit plan
- Preparing internal audit reports for Head of Internal Audit, Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and/or Board of Directors (BOD) and other shareholders if requested
- Coordinating and interrelating with all departments for internal audit works in terms of finance and accounting
- Assisting Head of Internal Audit with establishment and development of audit manual/audit policy
- Assisting Head of Internal Audit with establishment and development of the audit approaches and procedures in accordance with audit manual/audit policy
- Contributing to the improvement of Bank’s policies and procedures
- Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, effects changes required for improvements
- Training supervisors and evaluating the performance of junior staffs of finance and accounting
- Performing other tasks as assigned by Head of Internal Audit and/or CFO

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting. ACCA candidate is an advantage
- 4 or more years of experience in works related to auditing
- Knowledge of audit and assurance, finance and accounting, taxation and business operations
- Experiences with real estate business is an advantage
- Fast and pro-active learner
- Positive thinking, dynamic teamwork, self-motivation, time management, disciplinary, respectful, helpful, supportive, communicative, cooperative, initiative, analytical mindset and result-oriented
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel), QuickBook, Outlook and Internet/Email
- Able to maintain high level of confidentiality, honest and responsible towards the works given
- Willing to work hard and be flexible on timing
- Able to work under pressure with high responsibility
- Strong presentation, written communications, and report-writing skills in English and Khmer
