Over the years, we have developed tools for our needs. And we want additional tools to help us to organize our operations, manage assets, improve our selection, and cover educational needs. Currently, we are seeking for IT intern.

The main objectives of your mission are:

• Test, fix bugs and implement missing features in these tools
• Make sure that all the tools on the same technical foundation so as to reduce maintenance cost and complexity (PHP/MySQL, same versions of CodeIgniter framework and frontend libraries)
• Improve the code quality of the tools, especially the comments and by removing dead code and unused files
• Document how to deploy and configure the tools. Describe troubleshooting FAQs if relevant
• Improve the response times of the tools (the Internet access is very slow in our centers)

• Develop, test and fix internal applications
• Follow the technical and functional requirements
• Document code, changes and troubleshooting FAQs

• EDUCATION: Bachelor degree
• PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Former experience in developing a PHP/MySQL web application
• SKILLS: PHP, MySQL, HTML, JS, CSS, Git. Knowledge of CodeIgniter would be a plus
• Possibility of accommodation at the students’ dormitory for all or part of the mission (subject to availability)
• For people paying income tax in France, all the costs of the mission (e.g. plane tickets, vaccines, insurance and visa) are considered as donations and as such are 66% tax deductible
• LANGUAGES: Written English
• Basic Knowledge of any Brahmic script based language (Bengali, Thai, etc.) would be a plus if you intend to work on the Khmer typing learning system
