Key Account Manager

Summary of Position

A leading gourmet Deli in Phnom Penh is looking for a resourceful Key Account Manager to handle company product sales, develop existing accounts and establish new customers. The Key Account Manager will provide reports to management, as well as working with a high level of professionalism to increase sales and customer relations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products to current and potential customers
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and established new account by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential account and other trade factors
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying of customer need and type of customer
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and sale reports such as daily call & customer visit reports, weekly work plans, and monthly plans
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, product, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Maintains a long term relationship with existing accounts and potential accounts
  • Responsible for development and achievement of sales through the direct channels
  • Write business proposals for new and existing opportunities
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Professional proficiency in Khmer & English required

Other Requirements

  • Good sales technique
  • A degree in Business Management or related field is preffered
  • Strong consultative selling skills to maximize brand exposure
