Manager of Credit Department

Summary of Position

The leading international bank in Cambodia is looking for Manager of Credit Department.

The Manager of Credit Department will be provide high levels of service to new credit clients, preparing credit documentation and assisting with the efficient set up and maintenance of credit facilities, with appropriate monitoring of credit control and quality.

At least 5 years’ experience in similar position in a bank.

Fluent English and French.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To take part in writing policies & procedures of Credit Risk Department
  • To train Credit analysts of the team
  • Preparing facility letters and security documentation taking into account security and legal considerations
  • Liaison with external professionals & lawyers for the implementation & completion of lending related activities
  • Set up and maintenance of credit facilities within the Banks core banking and risk systems where required
  • Supervise the administrative functions of the department. 
  • Supervise the preparation of NBC's reports and HQ's reports
  • Supervise the preparation, distribution and review of control reports to monitor the Group's credit portfolio 
  • To conduct a comprehensive review of existing client facilities recommending changes & revisions where necessary. 
  • To have an in depth knowledge of credit, and to be able to apply this knowledge to a wide variety of transactions 
  • Supervise with the development and enhancement of the departments product range

  • To the Top Management

Experience Required

Lower degree accepted if at least 5 years’ experience in similar position in a bank

Languages Required

Fluent English and French

Other Requirements

  • At least Master’s degree in any related field
  • Fluent English and French (writing and speaking)
  • Excellent analytical, flexible,initiative, knowledge and expertise
  • Strong communication(oral & written), business awareness, client focus, decision making, interpersonal, team building, negotiating, and organizingskills
