Marketing Coordinator

Summary of Position

The University is seeking a full time candidate to support the Steering Committee in coordinating marketing and branding activities. The Marketing Coordinator will be in charge of working closely with a dynamic team of marketing consultants to plan, design and implement new marketing and branding strategies. Also, The Marketing Coordinator supporting the academic faculties in promoting their courses to high school students and schools, attending fairs and events, and visiting schools and educational organisations to promote the University and its courses.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the leadership of the university and all the heads of departments to understand their marketing needs
  • Work with the consultants and/or service providers to plan and manage marketing activities and set marketing strategies, objectives and targets
  • Support the consultants and/or service providers by providing them with or sourcing the information needed to promote the University
  • Manage the marketing calendar and ensure that key dates are communicated to departments
  • Updating information about the University on external websites, Facebook, YouTube or Twitter and directories, making sure that all the information is up to date
  • Managing data files and keeping information and all records properly and safely as the school’s data base
  • Gathering information on competitor schools and programs. Also, gathering information on our programs for use in rankings and other forms of market analysis
  • Work as a team with others and volunteers in the Marketing department in various projects and daily tasks
  • Undertake other assignments as assigned by the management

Reporting to

The President /Steering Committee

Experience Required

• At least 5 years of experience in a customer facing role, whether sales, marketing, or service oriented job

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Manager (Staff supervisor,...)

Languages Required

• Strong written, verbal and presentation capabilities in English and Khmer

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, sales, business administration or a related field
  • Some event organisation experience and evidence of ability to work in a team will be preferred
  • Strong and confident in communication
  • Be able to work with heads of departments and senior level people
  • Good computer skills, MS Office, Internet, email
  • Design skills are desired – Photoshop, InDesign etc
  • Highly organised
  • Able to multitask
