Medicine Laboratory Assistant

Summary of Position

A private university in Phnom Penh is looking for Medicine Laboratory Assistant to fullfill their vacancy. This position wil be incharge preparing material and reagent before and after TP class. Coordinates activities of Medical laboratory to assist lecturer in teaching in the lab. Ensure to make students attendant during each practical class. He/She will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To assist in laboratory with lecturers when laboratory is processing
  • Organizing and planning all of reagent and equipment in the lab
  • Do inventory for all supplies and reagents used every month
  • Demonstrates care and use of equipment to teaching students
  • Preparing everything such as equipment and reagent before TP class
  • Report to the supervisor on the laboratory learning progress, and suggest future intervention for laboratory classes
  • Some work is assigned from supervisor
  • Assist  the lectures during midterm or any examination

Reporting to

The Senior Lab Officer (In charge in lab)

Experience Required

Graduated Medical Laboratory Ability to work well in a team

Minimum Educational Level Required

Associate Degree

Languages Required

English language as advantage

Other Requirements

  • Completed Medical Laboratory Associate Degree
  • Good in communication skill
  • Honest, hard-working
  • Computer literacy an advantage ( Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point )
  • Highly organised
  • Able to multitask
