Product Manager
Summary of Position
The First independent French pharmaceutical group is looking for a Product Manager. The Product Manager will be in charge of providing defined support with the research, preparation and implementation of relevant promotional campaigns for designated products, in order to ensure growing development of those products’ market share within their markets, and achievement of company sales targets. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
BUSINESS PLANS
- Prepare the key business planning documents related to the products, to the required standard, within the timescales given
- Completion of all pharmaceutical environment data as well as its marketing research documents will require an up to date working knowledge and evaluation
PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS - PREPARATION & PRESENTATION
- Prepare the Promotional Campaign for each cycle to meet the agreed deadline
- Present each cycle campaign and to train the sales team(s) and Sales Managers in conjunction with the Sales & Training Management, as required on the correct use of the Promotional material
- Ensure constant budget monitoring and to prepare and submit re-estimates as required
- Monitor and prepare sales reports on product(s) performance to proactively analyze, identify and discuss solutions/proposals with manager as to future strategies and tactics
OPINION LEADERS CONTACT
- Identify and contact all national and international Opinion Leaders in Cambodia for all relevant disease areas
- Build up and follow up a KoL management program for the related products
- Contact each designated Opinion Leader regularly through the KoL management program in order to achieve the following objectives
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with the Company
- Actively profile relevant company products
- keep up-to-date with issues, opinions, product information etc. of interest to both Opinion Leaders and the Company
- Continually evaluate opportunities for working with Opinion Leaders
MANAGEMENT OF PROJECTS
- Lead to a successful conclusion within required time frames, those projects delegated by the management or identified by you and agreed by the management
- When leading projects involving other personnel, to ensure that co-ordination is carried out in a proactive, constructive and cordial manner
- Ensure all external contacts have a positive professional image of the Company and products at all times – Printers, marketing agencies, PR companies, other Pharma-Industry, Journal Publishers
MEDICAL ENQUIRIES
- Ensure that all medical enquiries are processed in due course and in accordance with the company’s procedures
COMMUNICATION
- Establish optimal relations with all personnel to ensure maximum efficiency and co-operation with regard to the timely and cost effective completion of the product with all official and company’s regulations
- Maintain and develop productive and professional relations with all personnel and all other staff of the company
- Promote at all times an ethical professional image as a Representative of the Company
ADMINISTRATION
- Monthly reports to be completed and submitted to Management
- Expenses to be completed each month and submitted to Management as per company regulations
Experience Required
1 to 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales, preferably from a multinational pharmaceutical company
Minimum Educational Level Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Career Level Required
Experienced (Non-manager)
Languages Required
English
Other Requirements
- Education: M. Pharm / B Pharm or relevant background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate information
- Computer literate with the ability to utilize all MS Office software
- Professional approach to all aspects of job
- A pleasant, tactful manner in face-to-face meetings, similar telephone manner
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work without supervision
- Energy, enthusiasm and commitment
- Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail while maintaining overall objectives
