Project Contract Cost Controller

Summary of Position

One of property Development Company specialized in developing and selling condominium apartments in Phnom Penh for local and international investor is looking for one Project Contract Cost Controller who will be in charge of contractor quotation, cost consulting and risk analysis. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calling for contractor quotation‘ next to the tender; which is mainly use quotation basis rather than tender
  • To do the documentation related to the contractor
  • BOQ and prices and VO to always adjust to the most up to date situation
  • Drawing up contracts with contractor and vendor and Advising on Tax Issues
  • Cost Consulting, Cost estimation, and expert on construction cost and define the project budget
  • Cost control & Cost Benefit analysis
  • Estimating the Cost of Variations (VO)
  • Risk analysis evaluation
  • Carrying out feasibility studies and create detailed reports that are easily understood by management
  • Assessing and comparing options
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Assessment and projection for future base on site progress
  • Coordination with various consultants and also contractors, sub –contractor and suppliers, during pre
  • Preparing tender and contract documents for main and sub‐contracts
  • Enquire and evaluate quotation for tendering and variation works purposes

To the Managing Director 

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • At least 3 to 4 years experience in design field
  • A keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole
  • Organizational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Leadership skills as well as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
  • Creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong attention to details and consistency. Review automatisms
  • Willing to attain some skills in Photography (care about angle, light, height)
