Thalias is a leading company in the Cambodian hospitality industry employing over 400 staff. Thalias comprises three fine-dining restaurants - Topaz; Malis Phnom Penh, Malis Siem Reap, Arunreas– a luxury hotel, and Khéma, a dine-in and takeout gourmet shop. Currently, we are looking for Purchasing Officer.

• To handle supplies and purchases in a timely manner
• To contact and negotiate terms to get a competitive price while also ensuring quality and prompt delivery
• To check prices on a monthly basis and make price comparisons
• To prepare purchase orders, daily orders and reports with necessary approvals
• Price and quality spot check at the market
• To report any problems regarding quality, damage or price changes
• To keep an accurate and up-to-date supply list with contact details, a record of purchases and a price list
• To update data into system
• To be aware of the approximate consumption of regular items and par-stocks levels
• To co-ordinate with the cost control officer during preparation of the end of month closing inventory
• Seek for quotation from various suppliers
• Follow up stock in and out
• Prepare the supporting staff schedule
• To perform other duties as assigned
