Summary of Position

Our client is an international and cooperation agency in Cambodia and they are looking for a Receptionist who will be in charge of operate telephone and incoming/outgoing record. She will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Receptionist tasks

  • Operate telephone (answer and forward incoming calls, facilitate outgoing calls)
  • Provide information to partner institutions/clients of the office
  • Welcome guests and visitors
  • Send/receive/register and dispatch mail and fax messages within the office
  • Update internal phone directories

Secretarial tasks

  • Record incoming and outgoing office mail
  • Update various contact lists
  • Manage corporate contracts with preferred hotels
  • Book travel arrangements (domestic and abroad)
  • Prepare and send out invitations, newsletters and other documents
  • Print/scan/copy documents
  • Assist with the organisation of missions, meetings and visits of clients and partners
  • Assist with the organization of internal meetings/workshops and social events
  • Support Admin team as required

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Other Requirements

  • Degree in business administration and/or related field
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in administration or in a similar position
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office package, Outlook, Internet, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer (speaking and writing)
  • Sound knowledge of routine administrative support tasks
  • Strong ability to work independently and with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds
  • Flexible, outgoing, motivated and pro-active team player
  • Pleasant personality and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, good negotiation skills, willingness to adapt and learn
    • Able to work well under pressure and to prioritize tasks, solid planning skills
