Recruitment & Training Manager

Summary of Position

Our client is a private university in Cambodia. The Recruitment & Training Manager will be conduct recruitment activities across university, to ensure policies and processes are fully implemented and new recruits are of high quality and the supply of labor force are timely and responsive. The person will also in charge in conducting training need analysis, developing training policy, procedure and coordinating training activities. He/she needs to make sure these policies and procedures are widely communicated to staff and relevant staff are sent for training courses;

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Recruitment:

  • Conduct recruitment activities including drafting and posting job ad, shortlisting, arranging interview, reference check, negotiating with successful candidate making sure these processes are effectively and efficiently organized and new recruits are of high quality and on time;
  • Conduct on board training for new recruited staff for their good understanding about the institution, internal rules as well as working conditions;
  • Be in charge of staff exit interview to meet with resign staff to collect feedback in order to be used as input for improvement action;

2. Training:

  • Develop training need analysis, training policy, procedure, process and forms for smooth staff training activity management and disseminate them to all staff;
  • Keep staff’s TNA and training record, both internal and external training, making sure the records are correctly recorded and regularly updated;
  • Be responsible for coordinating staff training activities and finding relevant courses for staff capacity development;
  • Develop and update position naming guideline and position naming (both Khmer and English) for the effective and efficient use of position level across university;
  • ·Support Head of Human Resources with performance management appraisal by collecting staff’s KPIs every start and end of the year and make a list of staff’s performance result for annual salary review;
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Human Resources;

  • Head of Human Resource

Experience Required

At least three years’ experience in human resources management, preferably in recruitment and training

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Languages Required

Good command of English: both written and spoken;

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Human Resources Management or in a relevant discipline;
  • Good computer skills: MS Office, Internet and Email;
  • Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills
  • Patience, hardworking and commitment to university’s vision, mission and values
