Restaurant Manager

Summary of Position

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Daily activities

  • Inspect each outlet and ensure that hygiene and safety rules are being applied using checklist
  • Talk to employees on the floor and praise them - Briefing, Training, one on one & discipline
  • Evaluate employee performance - provide support, encouragement, direction
  • Chairman of Daily F&B Department Head Meeting
  • Optimize & promote our outlets, products and services        
  • Must be Serve Safe certified and follow up with hygiene policy and procedure for all staff

Weekly activities

  • Control cost to the minimum level, while keeping our standards - material & labor - maximize profit & provide timely reports

Monthly activities

  • Set monthly goals for self and F&B Department Heads - Every month set, review and reward

Quarterly activities

  • Review product offering

Organizing Responsibility

  • Make sure we have the best people in the right places, constantly improve their skills
  • Make sure that every process is as simple as possible - create, test, approve, review JD’s, SOS, SOP & Induction Program
  • Delegate responsibility to the lowest possible level
  • Handle Management of cash
  • Survey the market, networking with other professionals, go to new outlets, study their successes and failures AND study and implement good ideas
  • Constantly and consistently encourage creativity
  • Research, implement/develop technology
  • Asset Management
  • Ongoing creative marketing plan - Social & Traditional Media
  • Budget creation and management

The Heads of Department

Experience Required

3 years

Minimum Educational Level Required

High School or equivalent

Minimum Career Level Required

Manager (Staff supervisor,...)

Languages Required

English

Other Requirements

  • Being professional, confidential, with strong knowledge of F&B and managing people
  • Passionate about personal growth
  • Must be expatriate residing in Siem Reap, Cambodia 
  • Good command of sales and marketing strategy for restaurants
  • The final decision maker in the Food & Beverage department and active Manager on Duty
