Sales Manager

Summary of Position

Mercantile Pacific having over 250 employees globally and our Hong Kong office currently a "Start-up" the vibe will be dynamic and exciting due to you being exposed to every aspect of the business and as we grow rapidly here so will you. Currently, we are looking Sales Manager. The Sale Manager is in charge of service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • You will be in charge of identifying new potential partners and customers
  • Based on your performance further development in the position is available
  • You will develop winning value propositions for clients as part of the qualification process
  • You will represent Mercantile in the marketplace on a professional basis to increase market and brand awareness
  • And most importantly achieve your annual sales target

Other Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3+ years in a sales/ business partnership position in the USED Mobile Phone and Electronics industry
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to align and tailor your "sell" to match the client's requirements
  • Previous experience in building pipelines, segmentation, overseeing tenders, reporting to sales status updates and outstanding negotiation skills
  • The ability to quickly and effectively build rapport with people at all levels is essential whether by phone or face to face
  • You have a good understanding of the sales ecosystem
  • You have Excellent Customer Service Skills, and excellent ability to Close sales
  • Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales
  • Relevant experience in B2B sales environment
  • You have a strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently and comfortable working in large multi-cultural teams.
  • You are flexible and work well in very dynamic and first paced environments
  • You love technology and love to work in the IT and Technology industry
  • You gave good interpersonal skills, you’re good at consulting people and you think out of the box when facing problems
  • You have a Valid passport to travel
