Senior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer

Summary of Position

A mobile Telecom in Cambodia is looking for a Senior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer who will be in charge of planning infrastructure systems, maintaining cooling systems and power systems of data center, troubleshooting for malfunctioning of power equipment and HVAC equipment, special emphasis on battery room and MSC room equipment as well as assuming emergency service 24 hours for power and HVAC related issues. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demand forecasting
  • Prepare planning for Datacenter infrastructure systems
  • Lead Datacenter Infrastructure team
  • Manage Implementation of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and Precision air conditioning) and power equipment in datacenter
  • Prevent maintenance of cooling systems and power systems of datacenter but not limited to UPS, Generator, precision air-cons, wiring and lighting system
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioned power equipment and HVAC equipment, special emphasis on battery room and MSC room equipment
  • Assume emergency service 24 hours for power and HVAC related issues
  • Able to develop tender documents for related fields
  • Execute the operation and maintain contracts for the power equipment (follow-up with other energy engineers)
  • Lead the Development and executing of electrical related safety policy
  • Assure improvement of the power efficiency and utilization for datacenter
  • Interdepartmental cooperation of acceptance and other questions in relevant fields.

Experience Required

2 year experience working with international telecom company

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Fluent Khmer and profound English both excellent communication skill and written
