Shared Service Manager

Summary of Position

Our client is the world’s largest commercial real estate service and investment firm. They are looking for a Shared Service Manager who will manage support services such as HR, Admin, Accounting, IT and Marketing to ensure the effective support to sales department. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify the issues in current system and initiate the recommendations for improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement and simplification towards the system and process for efficiency improvement / internal control enhancement
  • Review and resolve support department inquiries escalated by each department
  • Co-pilot/partner with Country Business Leaders in driving the business results including establishing good control, monitoring, reporting mechanisms and relationship with those
  • Provide follow up training and coaching to staff to resolve the issues independently in the future
  • Provide guidance business line leaders to assist on appropriate decisions, measure the effectiveness of the decision to improve internal & external customer satisfaction
  • Review & monitor the budget & expenses for each supporting department
  • Partner with SEA or APAC Finance teams on all financial analysis matters including5-year business planning, forecasts, budgets, Management reviews, ad-hoc studies
  • Weekly Report to the Country Director and monthly report to the BOD
  • Work with other Corporate Finance/accounting members, auditors and company secretaries for statutory reporting requirements of companies

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of demonstrated work experiences in multi-national companies
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations in Cambodia
  • Knowledge of the accounting
  • Ability to identify trends and coach staff to improve performance
  • Ability to write procedures documents, job aids and conduct internal trainings
  • Knowledge of the various methods and techniques used in conducting employeeperformance evaluations and employee training and development
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict and provide service recovery to dis-satisfied employeeand client
  • Thorough knowledge of human resources laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of the various methods and techniques used in conducting employeeperformance evaluations and employee training and development
  • Ability to lead others, organize and review work
  • ofthe job to be accomplished, the capabilities of subordinates, and available resources;controlling work through periodic reviews and/or evaluations; determining the needfor disciplinary action and recommending disciplinary action
