Steward

Summary of Position

An elegant boutique hotel in the heart of Phnom Penh. The property features two restaurants, an art gallery and spa. Currently, we are looking for a Steward.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The steward role is closely similar to a diswasher.

  • Cleaning the dishes and utensils customers use, as well as the kitchen’s food preparation supplies
  • Cleaning dishes and putting them away and also includes keeping the floor clean with mops and brooms
  • Keeping the food preparation area sanitary
  • Refilling supplies in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Wiping off tables and gathering up and taking out the trash
  • This work requires you to walk and stand most of your shift
  • If the restaurant requires you to help out with truck deliveries, you may have to lift heavy items and put the contents away

Report to the rest of the restaurant staff.

Experience Required

Worked in kitchens and know how to get along with the cooks and help them.

Minimum Educational Level Required

High School or equivalent

Minimum Career Level Required

High School Student

Languages Required

Khmer and English
