Supply Chain Manager

Summary of Position

Unisun Development Corp is a SME which is embarking upon an exciting journey of becoming a prominent land development and construction company. Currently, we are seeking for a Supply Chain Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Effectively locate and source key materials suppliers, while analyzing the total cost associated with procuring an item or service.
  • Focus on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with trading partners who can help the purchaser meet profitability and partners’ satisfaction goals
  • Actively advising in the where-to-make, make-buy decision process

 Warehouse management

  • Apply a system approach to designing and managing the entire flow of information, materials, and services — from raw materials, suppliers, through warehouses, and finally to the requester.
  • Control the movement of products and storage of materials within a warehouse.
  • Configure warehouses to have formal storage locations that identify the row, rack section, level, and shelf location by placing high-turn items closest to packing and shipping areas, which will reduce transportation within the warehouse.
  • Design and optimization of number, size, location of warehouses/distribution centers

Transportation management

  • Manage transportation operations.
  • Ensure efficient use of transportation resources while meeting the needs of the partner.Develop and implement a formal logistics strategy

Business partner

  • Effectively collect and analyse sales and marketing information to understand and support existing and potential partners’ needs.
  • Incorporate contract management and administration when holding suppliers and partners accountable for meeting the work specified in a contract.
  • Evaluate contract responsiveness, negotiate changes to a contract, and ensure that contractors are compensated for products or services provided.
  • Measure partners satisfaction by using performance metrics taken from its perspective, with criteria such as on-time delivery, perception of quality, percentage of complaints, and length of wait times.
  • Integrate activities across organizations on the supply chain by ensuring information visibility in inventory levels, anticipated productions, and material-in-transit

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration
  • 5 years minimum experience in supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in ERP system
