Sustainable Supply Chain Development Officer
Summary of Position
A sourcing company in Cambodia and they are looking for a Sustainable Supply Chain Development Officer who will be in charge of leading the communication with suppliers and production units after social and environmental audits have been conducted and corrective action is required. The position will work closely with SSC team and be involved in training suppliers and their Production Units. They will regularly update progress with Sourcing Hub’s business units. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-boarding training and supports to new Production Unit prior to initial audit
- Review audit report from auditor and to follow up social and environmental audit corrective action plan (CAP) and provide guidance to suppliers and production units until an effective and workable CAP is formulated. The process involves, but not limited to, explaining company requirements, legal requirements, and best practices to achieve immediate and sustained improvement
- Follow up improvement process by obtaining update and evidences from the production units or from onsite visit
- Work closely with SSC Auditing Standard & Capability Building Manager to develop best practice reference materials, labor law profiles, and relevant internal document. Conduct training, round table meeting as appropriate for suppliers and their Production Units
- Work closely with Hub’s Sourcing team to leverage their support
- Work as a team to enhance and evolve SSC program to drive measurable improvements on the ground and process efficiency and effectiveness
- Attend Brand meeting and stakeholder conference for collaborative ideas, best practice sharing and bench marking
- Follow up to media and social media for information related to industry
- Report any un-ethical behaviour at all times

Experience Required
Have experience in conducting social and/or environmental audits for a minimum of three years
Minimum Educational Level Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Career Level Required
Experienced (Non-manager)
Languages Required
Good report writing skills in English and in the relevant local language

- Relevant experience with the sourcing, manufacturing or auditing, an International Brand working experience would be an added advantage
