A Cambodian solid waste management company is looking for Technical Manager.

The Technical Manager will be in charge of organize GPS survey for customer and control GPS-tracking project, supervise and improve work in landfill and develop health and safety policy. HE/SHE will work base in four branches (SR, KP, BM, KT).

• Organize customer GPS survey and mapping for the four branches to increase the collection coverage
• Lead the GPS-tracking project to follow-up the truck shifts, train the transportation team and help it to identify optimizations on the truck schedule.
• Lead the feasibility study on waste valorization: recycling, composting, Waste-to-Energy
• Supervise the improvement works at the Landfill, at the Garage and Sorting center and find solutions to mitigate the impact on the Environment
• Propose technical solutions to improve the conditions of work of garbage collectors
• Support Trucks/Machinery sourcing activity and advise on specifications
• Develop Health & Safety policies and follow their implementation
• Execute operations audit, assess company operations and make recommendations to improve operations
• Investigate fraud
• Be a source of proposition for technical innovation in Waste management
• Organize trainings on technical aspects for all departments

• Degree in Engineering (ITC, PPIT…) or any technical area
• Experience in Civil Engineering, Rural Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any other relevant field
• Computer skills: knowledge of GIS system, GPS system, Design systems such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Pack Office and ability to be trained quickly on new systems
• Willingness to learn, self-improvement, creativity and innovation
• Willingness to travel in the provinces
• Excellent teamwork and team building skills and strong problem-solving skills
