Our client is one of the largest Garment industry in Cambodia. The Textile Quality and Production Engineer will be in charge of ensuring the good respect of all the quality charters (Product quality, factory level: Technical, Social and Ecological compliance) for textile, shoes, and home textile products. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Support merchandiser team during the pre-audit
• Monitor technical audit (internal or external) and social audit (external company) of the new production sites proposed by commercial teams, analyses the audit report and follow the implementation of the corrective actions requested
• Assess the compliances of the raw material and/or samples when necessary
• Check with merchandising team that all quality charters (performance, ecological and social) are signed and explained
• Update systematically factory status in PSS
• Set up product qualification (country regulations, norms…) when necessary, according to norm regulation guideline 
• Identify sensitive products that require a specific change of construction of the product or specific control plan in production, based on guidelines 
• When required, make special control of traceability of fibers/ yarn / raw material
• Monitor the fabric tests performed through external laboratories. Chases, reviews and processes the test reports received. Informs suppliers and merchandisers in case of quality issues
• On sensitive products, check the results of special testing plan, either through internal or external testing
• Monitor the product tests performed through external laboratories. Chases, reviews and processes the test reports received. Informs suppliers and merchandisers in case of quality issues. Works out options to correct quality problems
• Prepare and check the inspection materials (inspection samples, complete documentation, test reports "OK") required to perform the inspections and Review the inspection reports received by external ·       companies and release the "OK Quality" consignments (appropriate timing)
• Follow the technical and social corrective action plans of the current factories

To the Regional Asia Textile Production Manager

• At least 3 years experiences in quality control, Audit and product development
• At least bachelor degree in business administration or relevant skills
• English language is needed and Chinese is a plus
• Textile sector knowledge
• Good command of basic production process and analysis
• Able to travel to the factory
• Proactive and able to work under pressure
