Therapist

Summary of Position

FCC Angkor is looking for a Therapist who will be responsible for the comfort of all guests and members, while performing high quality professional massage and treatment services.

At least 1 year working experience in spa department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance according to the associate handbook.
  • Ensure proper telephone etiquette when answering calls.
  • Perform massage or treatments on guests with professionalism, care and attentiveness to each clients’ needs.
  • Perform all of the treatments that are included in your classification.
  • Perform any reasonable request made by a guest of spa and spa member; this service will be restricted to body massage only, NO OTHER SERVICE.
  • Maintain treatment rooms in a neat and clean manner.
  • Attend daily briefing sessions and relevant department training.
  • Ensure massage rooms are clean, restocked and setup after each massage.
  • Ensure all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow up is completed on a timely basis.  Pre-empt and anticipate guest needs.
  • COMMUNICATION, TRAINING & MOTIVATION
  • Responsible for communicating with Senior Therapist/ Spa Supervisor/ Manager and with other departments for their input and to keep all areas updated on all activities and functions offered to hotel guests and Spa members.
  • Keep your supervisor and manager informed of your physical state as it relates to your job so that they may assist you to control your workload accordingly.
  • Attend training sessions/meetings as required.
  • Ensure that hospitality is continually evident during all activities and programs offered to hotel and local market/members.

Experience Required

At least 1 year working experience in spa department

Minimum Educational Level Required

High School or equivalent

Minimum Career Level Required

High School Student

Languages Required

Speaking some basic English

  • Possess of SPA knowledge.
  • Open-minded, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm thereby setting good example for other to emulate.
  • Good understanding of the concept of excellent customer service and guest hospitality.
  • Ability to anticipate guest’s needs.
  • Ability to understand job instructions.
  • Be eager to learn new things/ skills.
