Tour Coordinator
Summary of Position
FCC Angkor Hotel has been the meeting place for intrepid adventurers, locals and visitors, from around the world. FCC Angkor Hotel brings together spirited people where, in colonial settings perfect for conversation, good food and drink have always been the order of the day.
We are looking for a Tour Coordinator who will be in charge to provide assistance to guest including handling guest’s mail, parcels, messages, email, tours and city information.
Oversees the Concierge desk, Bellman, Limousine, and Car park.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To co-ordinate and supervise in the activities of the Bellman, Guest Service, Driver engaged in duties such as transfer of baggage of incoming guests, paging, running errands and handling of signage of daily functions.
- To ensure the cleanliness of his working areas, hotel entrance and the lobby is well maintained (ashtrays, windows, floor and sofa seats, etc…)
- To control and maintain proper use of baggage room, ensures that it is always clean, secured at all times.
- See to it that proper procedures are followed in receiving, storing and handling of guest baggage.
STANDARDIZATION
- To check and ensure that all trips arrangement for gust is well schedule and follow through the timetable.
- To train staff on a regular basis to ensure that all services rendered by the staff to guests are of the highest standards at all times.
- To assist guests with booking of restaurants, theatre seats, airline reservation/confirmation, limousine service, tour arrangement etc.
- To be familiar with local and foreign government rulings and requirements with regards to immigration, customs, visas, etc.
- Supervises the parking area and give parking information with the assistance from the drivers.
- To perform duties common to all supervisors and other duties as may be assigned by the Front Office Manager or the management.
COMMUNICATION, TRAINING & MOTIVATION
- Working closely with Group Front Office Manager for a smooth and better arrangement guest touring.
- Ensure that the driver is well aware of guest tour arrangement.
- Ensure the driver keeps the car/ van clean at all times.
- Follow through the lost and found policy and procedure for guest items found inside the car and van.
- Participate in any training related to the Tour and Travel Arrangement for better understanding in order to provide good service for hotel guest.
Experience Required
At least 3 years's experience in related position
Minimum Educational Level Required
High School or equivalent
Minimum Career Level Required
Experienced (Non-manager)
Languages Required
Fluently in speaking English, good in writing
Other Requirements
- Ability to use MS Office, email and internet…etc.
- Open-minded, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm thereby setting good example for other to emulate.
- Ability to make minor decisions effectively, objectively without much deliberation.
- Good understanding of the concept of excellent customer – tour service.
- Ability to anticipate guest’s needs.
- Ability to understand job instructions.
- Be eager to learn new things/ skills.
- Be committed.
- Be honest, and not afraid to ask for help instead of pretending.
