Warehouse Supervisor

Summary of Position

Unisun Development Corp is a SME which is embarking upon an exciting journey of becoming a prominent land development and construction company.

Unisun Development Corp is seeking for a Warehouse Supervisor. This position will oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. S/he ensures work place healthy and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • S/he plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock, such as chilled goods or fragile products. S/he ensures productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems
  • S/he guarantees a good rotation of inventories according to date of arrival (FIFO method) and especially expiring dates when existing
  • S/he also oversees picking, packing and distribution activity for consumables and tolls and equipment
  • S/he also guarantees that the returned tools and equipment are in good shape and ready to be used
  • S/he interferes with other departments for broken and lost equipment to find the right solution for the company
  • S/he guarantees the good match between computering stock and physical ones for all US sites. At least 2 physical inventories/ year
  • S/he is also asked to make improvement proposals for warehouses implementation and organization
  • S/he is in charge of HQ warehouses management and organization and s/he is the interface for HQ inventories requests
  • S/he will coordinate the transfer between US warehouses and will be in charge of inventories reporting’s settlements and follow up
  • S/he guarantees the good implementation of common processes and organization for all US warehouses
  • S/he will play a key role in the new system definition and implementation for warehouses and inventories and s/he will participate to the definition of new items
  • This role will work in US's site warehouse and is a cross-functional position, as s/he will have to work closely with Site Admin, Project Manager, Project Team Leader and Procurement Team
  • Coordinate Warehouse team &Train new warehouse staff and monitor their performance and progress
  • This position will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee stock control and processing orders
  • Ensure quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
  • Deliver and fulfills objectives and directions of the company
  • Carry out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and plan future capacity requirements
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a weekly and monthly basis and Implement related action plan
  • Brief Supply Chain Manager on the issues and discrepancies
  • Ensure the healthy, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment
  • In large storage operations, s/he has a more strategic role and deal with planning, administration and general management issues, which will include the day-to-day supervision of staff, and overseeing work organized by Supply Chain Manager
  • Check stock availability for project request, and confirm quantity to order if needed
  • Identifies and implement process for improvement on warehouse management
  • Conduct analyses related to inventory assets as requested by management
  • Recommend to management any updates to policies related to Inventory
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Other Requirements

  • University degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • Computer knowledge of MS Office, Excel good skills mandatory
  • Good command of English
  • Able to work under pressure, flexible and honestly
  • Be rigorous and flexible, dynamic, confident and self-motivated
  • Voluntary, proposal oriented and Analysis skills
  • Skillful in stock controlling
  • Assets management
