Our client is an international construction company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Cost Controller who will track and review actual costs and analyze data to ensure charges are within budget. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Monitor the analytical accounting and ensure the correct cost center allocation, make adjustment if necessary
• Prepare the accruals with the information collected from Procurement, QS and HR department
• Follow up the equipment and calculate the technical depreciation
• Gather the information of progress from each department to calculate the monthly earned value using the in-house software PEGASE
• Preparation of the Cost report showing the comparison of the Progressed budget versus the actual expenses and analysis of the variances
• Assist with the preparation and compilation of monthly reports
• Ad hoc assignments from reporting manager to be executed
• Forecast and update of the Monthly earned value (quarterly)
• Assist with the update of the Budget (yearly) with the Cost Controller Manager and the Project Management team

• Cost Controller Manager

• Minimum Bachelors in Finance (Management/Cost Accounting) or Civil Engineering Degree
• Having experience in construction industry is recommended
• Good level of Microsoft Excel and Office
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English speaking and writing
• Pro-active
• Attention to details and consistency
