Samrithisak Microfinance Limited  is looking for Deputy Head of Finance Department.

• Assist the Head of Finance in the preparation of all the financial reporting and ensure daily Balance Sheet (BS) and P&L movements are substantiated and in compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
• Manage Treasury transactions
• Manage monthly NBC reports, tax declaration
• Accurately and promptly process internal fund transfer request
• Manage suspense reconciliation and work with relevant department to resolve any outstanding issues
• To lead IFRS project and coordinate with related stakeholders to delivery outcome required by NBC. And to provide relevant training and recommendation to related users
• Prepare strategic plan, budget and forecast and monitor performance
• Manage monthly financial and management reporting pack, including commentary and analysis
• Lead the increase of greater cost awareness across the business
• Monitor and investigate large and unusual transactions and provide recommendations as to potential approaches/solutions
• Provision of analysis and advice on management accounting issues relating to company results and how performance can be improved
• Proactively promote relationship with related business unit, based on mutual understanding of roles and agreed standards for performance and interactions
• Control business direct costs and capital costs in accordance to tax advice
• Keep up to date on risk trends and issues to increase your awareness and minimize loss
• Manage and maintain financial control, process and process and to update to all relevant internal stakeholder on any change

Head of Finance Department

• Degree in Finance or a related field, CPA/ACCA qualifications desired
• At least 5 year of hands-on experience in Finance, Accounting or Treasury-related function, preferably in Banking/Finance Industry
• Good Microsoft Office especially spreadsheet skills
• Good knowledge of statutory reporting requirements
• Ability to work independently and commit to the outcome
• Strong knowledge of accounting standard would be a distinct advantage; in particular, knowledge of the IFRS implication and banking regulatory environments
• Sound knowledge of management accounting and financial reporting techniques
• Superior ability to quickly diagnose, develop alternatives and solve problems using a flexible approach
• Sound analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiating skills, combined with the ability to deal with all seniority levels within the line of business
• Demonstrated experience in selecting, managing and developing a team, and the ability to lead
• Self-motivated, self-starter, demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to improve processes
