Our client is a Japanese company who sell second hand cars and also provide car loans. Recently, they are seeking for an Internal Audit Manager who will be responsible for plan and execute internal audits and prepare the reports related to audit and risk management. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

• Plan and execute internal audits cooperating a wide variety of departments within the company, subcontractor
• Oversee the internal control, manage the risk management process and evaluate the process of corporate governance and information technology
• Regarding potential loss due to fraud, property damage, and reputation loss, verify with the various department if there is a variance between purchase order, goods receipt or invoice
• Work closely with the management members to address and resolve critical issues
• Prepare the reports related to audit and risk management
• Provide assistance related to the quarterly external audit
• Conducts follow-up audits to make sure that regulations and rules are still being met and best practices are being followed

Report to Head of Finance 

• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) of finance or accounting at college or university
• Professional certification as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA or its equivalent is a real plus
• Minimum of 2 years of internal/external audit experience
• Good understanding of Accounting principles, Risk Management and Information Technology Audit
• Good command of spoken and written English and Khmer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other computer operating systems
