Grundfos (Singapore) Pte Ltd is looking for Sales Manager for Water Utility. As part of a dedicated team of 3 that will drive sales and execution of performance-based contracts for Water Utilities (WU), you have the overall responsibility of generating and qualifying leads as well as closing orders. Aim to position Grundfos as a strategic partner for water utility customers in their efforts to run their business in a professional and efficient way including reducing energy consumption and water losses.

You will take the lead on a dedicated team of 2 that has a focused task of addressing water utilities with performance-based contracts. You work closely with the colleague(s) in the back-office and you are supported by a highly skilled Service Specialist. You are expected to ensure a great team spirit and progression.

• Understand the business and challenges of water utilities
• Understand technically the operations, systems and network of a water utility
• Listen to customers and identify how performance-based contracting model by Grundfos can support their business
• Identify performance-based contracting sales leads in water utility sector
• Conduct high-level assessment of water utility network to qualify the leads
• Articulate the technical solution and value of the solution to customers – and negotiate and close orders
• Create trustworthy relations and communicate on different levels in the customer organization, from owner/CEO level to operations manager level
• Build good relationship at governmental level. Take part and contribute in the political agenda setting in the water utility sector

• Graduate in Engineering
• At least 2 years of work experience in water treatment industry
• Possess good commercial understanding and experience in project management
• Good Knowledge of Instrumentation and Controls
• Possess solid theoretical background and familiar with boosters and hydraulic
• Familiar with technical support, water treatment processes and applications
• Able to work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
• Good communication (in local language and English)
• Has knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office series and CAD drawing software
