Country Sales Manager (Cambodia)

Summary of Position

Maersk: Currently, we are looking for a Country Sales Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery as per Area budget

  • Lead and set direction for the Sales Team according to budget – both on delivering volume and growing revenue and optimising profits
  • Coach and guide sales team to sell and grow non-ocean activities including supply chain and local products

Customer Satisfaction

  • Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local improvement of customer satisfaction

Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions

  • Lead transformation from the front as per the overall company strategy
  • Ensure best practices sharing across teams
  • Manage cross functional relationships and actively provide input to product team on product value proposition
  • Provide business planning input to Area on behalf of the country

Build and Develop a best in class Sales Team

  • Ensure Succession plans are in place for key roles including own role
  • Coach direct reports for success and development
  • Manage local engagement

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Languages Required

English
Khmer
Chinese language (Intermediate proficiency in spoken, written and reading) is a highly preferable skill to have for this role

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or above. 
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sales or Commercial, preferably with 5 years’ in a senior leadership position. 
  • Senior expertise on logistic products (ocean, contract logistic, warehouse & distribution)
  • Knowledge of Cambodia’s economy dynamics, the local and international market landscape as well as industry trends. 
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in Sales and leadership. 
  • Master negotiator; strong networking skills. 
  • An inspirational leader with excellent coaching and people skills. 
  • Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English. 
  • Knowledge of Chinese language (Intermediate proficiency in spoken, written and reading) is a highly preferable skill to have for this role
  • Experience in managing a team of 3 or more
