Head of Human Resources

Summary of Position

Our client is a leading company in Cambodia. They are looking for a Head of Human Resources who will be in-charge of designing, implementing and overseeing policies & procedures aiming to improve employees’ capabilities & leadership, organizational effectiveness, drive the change management agenda, employee engagement to build the Purpose-led culture and embrace company core values in the organization. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess current company structure and staff capabilities against the business strategies and recommend improvement plans and/or change agenda for better management of human resources and HR systems & processes
  • Support individual department in developing and delivering innovative organizational development solutions and resources through implementation of new business processes, necessary organization structures/design, and workforce planning
  • Lead the organizational changes by using various change management methodologies and tools (communication, training, resource mobilization…. etc.).
  • Define, measure, and monitor success metrics for change progress, along with driving continuous improvement activities that will enhance internal change capabilities
  • Lead and strategize talent management including talent review, individual development plan, and talent development & retention programs
  • Collaborate with and recommend the senior management team and people managers the succession planning and talent pools
  • Manage workforce planning processes across the organization
  • Drive diversity efforts to facilitate staff development, retention and engagement
  • Conceptualize, formulate and implement all of the company's employee engagement policies and programs that are aimed to strengthen their sense of belonging, and engender a work culture that imbibes the company's core values and purpose
  • Work with senior management and regional team to implement and drive purpose-led culture program in the company
  • Promote employee awareness, understanding, and executing company’s core values and leadership behaviors through organizing different event and activities, and various communication means
  • Foster an open, collaborative atmosphere at workplace through activities and strategies implementation
  • Foster workplace diversity and inclusion culture

  • Chief of Human Resources

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, master’s degree is a plus
  • Certification in a Change Management methodology is a plus
  • 5-10 years of related work experience in Organization Development, Talent Management or Staff engagement and Culture development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate human resources data to provide insight and recommendations for organizational improvements
  • Strong active listening skills & High level of emotional intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & strong computer literacy
