Accounting and Payroll Officer

Summary of Position

Maison Thai Trading Company Limited is looking for Accounting and Payroll Officer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

A.  Accounting:

  • Manage process entry and accounting system
  • Ensure revenue is properly reconciled on a daily basis and cash is deposited to bank account in a timely manner
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and cash report
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, tax invoices for clients in compliance with current laws & regulations
  • Manage payables; prepare payments, cheques, bank transfers, other accounting documents
  • Prepare and file tax report to be compliant with Cambodian taxation laws
  • Keep informed about local taxation laws work to ensure tax compliance program
  • Develop effective and professional relationships with all key staffs to ensure financial management approaching compliant with legal firm requirements
  • Ensure all accounting processes and internal controls are properly complied with
  • Prepare monthly payment for all staffs and perform other duties assigned by Finance Manager and the management team

 B. Compensation & Benefits

  • Responsible for monthly attendance record/leave record, final payment
  • In charge of Labor contract and decision for employees
  • In charge of any issues related to labor such as resigning, labor registration (if any)
  • Work in partnership with Agency in providing data for payroll including salary computation, social security contribution and others payment, in compliance with Cambodia Labor Code & Regulations
  • In charge of monthly final salary payment to employees

Experience Required

2 year of experience in accounting and HR admin role, knowledge of tax law is highly preferred

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Khmer and English (can communicate in Vietnam is preferred)

Other Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • At least 2 year of experience in accounting role, knowledge of tax law is highly preferred
  • Good at Microsoft Excel and interested in learning about accounting software
  • Good command of written and oral Vietnamese or English, Vietnamese is much preferred
  • Attentive to details, disciplined, able to organize files records with accuracy, highly reliable, and positive attitude
  • Able to work with occasional overtime, complete tasks by deadline, and work independently
  • Honest, hardworking, responsibility, self-organized pro-active, Patient, Flexible, and a good team player
