Adobe Air Developer (Actionscript 3, Flex, Adobe AIR)

Summary of Position

Avacas is a web development company that provides internet production services for a range of international companies and agencies.

We are looking for an Adobe Air Developer (Actionscript 3, Flex, Adobe AIR) with minimum of 1 year experience programming in Java/Actionscript for an IT company.

Must have good skills in writing and spoken English.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Developing internet applications and games, primarily using Adobe AIR and Actionscript.

Experience Required

Minimum of 1 year experience programming in Java/Actionscript for an IT company

Minimum Educational Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Career Level Required

Experienced (Non-manager)

Languages Required

Must have good skills in writing and spoken English

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor degree, diploma in Computer studies or equivalent experience
  • Strong consideration will be given to candidates with 2 years or more experience, however those with less than 2 year experience who demonstrate positive pro-active attitude towards their work and willingness to learn will also be strongly considered
  • Knowledge in flash Actionscript 3 or willing to learn flash Actionscript 3
  • Able to problem solve independently
  • Able to cope with tight deadlines
  • Honest and hard working
  • Willingness to work extra hours if required
