Mad Monkey is a leading socially responsible hostel company, currently operating in Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia & Australia. We are looking Accounts Receivable. The Accountant will work closely with operational staff to ensure company receives payments for goods and services, and records these transactions accordingly. The job of this incumbent will include securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, and resolving any discrepancies.

70% - Bookkeeping: Supporting/back up the accounting team in double checking of the reconciliation of daily accounts, bookkeeper of financial records, consolidation of day to day account receivable.. Input financial records in Xero Accounting System and oversee petty cash and revenue of each hostels.
30% - Management support: Offer support to Chief Accountant in whatever areas are necessary regarding to reports and data.

The Chief Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree - in Accounting, Finance or Banking
• Proven experience in accounting field
• Proficient in using computer and accounting software
• Attention to detail and ability to spot an error or mistake
• Ability to priorities and manage expectations
• Analytical and communication skills
