We are urgently looking to hire a creative and inspired Architect to handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The Architect’s responsibilities developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents and managing project teams. You should be able to building, an extension, alterations or a restoration project, and deliver on the client’s requirements.

To be successful in this position you should be able to visualize space in three dimensions, have a good understanding of construction technologies and be an effective project manager. An outstanding Architect will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create designs that are functional, creative and sustainable.

• Produces interior design concept with 3D rendered images
• Prepare drawing standard for architect team (standard layers/dimensions/annotations)
• Prepares standard interior and architectural working drawings detail on technical and construction aspects with attention to specification and coordinating dimensions and drawing references all in compliance to CAD protocol
• Managing design projects from concept development through to completion
• Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications and construction documents
• Adjusting designs are plans to meet the client’s needs
• Coordinate with internal and external department team members to ensure no misinformation from design intent
• Controls design materials sample and documentaries
• Checks construction site to make sure it follows the approved designs
• Managing project teams and collaborating with other construction professionals
• Proficient in Microsoft Power point, Msword, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad, 2D, 3D Max, Sketchup and V-ray is a must

• Degree in Architecture or a related field
• At least 2 years working experience in Architectural/ Interior Design Team Leader/ Technical Drawing Design preferred
• Strong understanding and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent technical drawing skills
• Able to read architecture drawing
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing is a plus, using SketchUp, etc
• Strong creative and visualization skills
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving
• Good listener and able to work as instructed by the supervisor
• Good sense of time management
• Able to work with less supervision
• Able to work in a fast phase environment
• Proficient in English both written and oral to liaise with associates
