Business Developer (Retail and Investor)

Summary of Position

Our client is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. They are looking for a Business Developer who, in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales, will be responsible for promoting the company’s Products on Cambodia Retail Markets (Retailers, DIY shops and Electronic shops) and with Construction Stakeholders. He/she will be based in Phnom Penh.

Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Acquire deep knowledge of the company’s Products for Cambodia.
  • Understand the profile and buying needs of customers, Electrical Retailers, DIY shops and Electronic shops to expand the company’s support and businesses in the Retail Market.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Retailers to promote sales of the company’s Products.
  •  Ensure the company’s products are well positioned at POS at all times through regular site visits.
  • Periodically promote specific products in alignment with the Company's strategic focus.
  • Promote the brand and products to potential investors (new project, hotel, real estate)
  • Active in networking events especially in construction and real estate events.
  • Promote our products to Architects and Interior Designer, to End User when required.
  • Do the company and group presentation to stakeholders.
  • Accompany sales team and project engineer on spec in/promotion mission.
  • Be updated in terms of company products and competitor products present on market.
  • Have a good knowledge on social media especially Facebook and Linkedin.
  • Any other duties as and when required.

To Country Manager, Cambodia

Other Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Experience in Sales / Merchandising / Marketing / Real Estate is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Email).
  • Good command of English and Khmer is a must with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), internally and externally.
  • Independent and highly energetic and fast learner, able to absorb knowledge fast, on both business and technology.
  • Excellent team player with an eye for team collaboration and team achievements.
  • Ability to travel to provinces on a regular basis (short stay of 2/3 days).
  • Possess valid driving license and own transport (e.g. motorbike).
