Business Development Executive
Summary of Position
Phnom Penh Land Development Co., Ltd: currently, we are looking for a candidate in the position Business Development Executive.
- This position will be required in order to assist with large amounts of market reporting and analysis to inform effective investment decision making and to add value to the work of the Department
- The position will deliver a lot of business intelligence that will be strategically assessed, fed in to reports and presentations and, ultimately, reported at a high level
II. Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Research the market for identifying new business opportunities under the supervision of the CIO
- Develop and maintain personal knowledge of priority sectors; market trends, competitors and routes to market for improved investment decisions
- Assess and report events calendar and attend certain events as appointed by the Business Development Manager in order to be up to date with any new opportunities and fields the Company could pursue
- Analyze current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to assist in providing recommendations for business growth and problem resolution
- Research & deliver intelligence that will inform proposition development under the supervision of the CIO
- Assist in contributing to Business proposals and investment reports on a regular basis
- Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with other team members to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities
- Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization as appointed by Management
- Support the CIO in general business development activity where necessary, for example preparing for and supporting events, investor visits and meetings etc
- Active attempts to grow business network with a view to developing new opportunities commercially
- Conduct both desk and out-of-office based research and fulfilment of tasks as assigned
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Management
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Adopt a co-operative and positive style of working with other PPL staff and with partner organizations with shared commercial interests
- Maintain confidentiality in all work carried out
- Update job knowledge by participating in internal and external training, workshops and seminars as assigned or appointed by the Company
- Ensure knowledge of internal procedures and supporting departments (Admin/ HR/Finance/IT etc.)

- Positive attitude and experience in carrying out project research
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Understanding of financial statements and investment structures advantageous
